Pure Enjoyment!
Joe and Mary Alice are sent to their Grandma's each summer for one week. Grandma is a hoot! You cannot miss this book! Each chapter tells a story of a different summer. I love it, I laughed in every chapter! Read with your kids, or by yourself! I am going to own this entire series! A year down yonder is just as golden! Can't wait to read the 3rd.
This is a perfect read aloud since each chapter contains an entire event and thus it easy to put it down between chapters till the next time you are ready for a smile and a laugh!
Also I think this would be a great gift for a friend - a fun pick-me-up book.
