I Love this idea! Save $ Every Week!

After 52 weeks you will have saved $1378.00

(click on the image above for a free printable)

It's Simple:

Week 1 - put $1.00 in your piggy bank

Week 2 - put $2.00 in your piggy bank

Week 3 - put $3.00 in your piggy bank

etc.

Week 14 - put $14.00 in your piggy bank

Week 15 - put $15.00 in your piggy bank

etc. etc.

Until the very last week - Week 52 - put $52.00

AND YOUR TOTAL IS= $1378.00

I think this is a great plan for helping to get me in the Savings Mind Set!

The Total Money Makeover:Classic Edition

I am trying to combat the Holiday spending frenzy with some smart money reading.

I decided this book looked perfect,

and boy/girl was I right!

I’ve read many books about being money smart and have found Dave Ramsey at the top. I really like his writing style – cut to the quick, lay it out swift and get some changes happening immediately. This book was so completely motivating for me. I am not a financial reader at all – thank goodness he’s not a financial writer. Meaning he is easy to read for the normal gal (me) and what he says makes sense, is proven and life changing. My favorite thing about him is he says it’s not easy but very doable. This book is now next to my scriptures (of course in my Kindle all my books are next to my scriptures, he he) – time to read it a little each day to keep me gazelle focused.

If you want to take control of your money, if you’re willing to admit “you” are the problem, and you want action now, then this is the book for you. Buy it, read it and live it and you will definitely find peace in your purse. Now have a happy holiday:)
