NEXT:

If you click on a name in blue color from the FAMILY TREE page you will see a small information box pop up.

This is called:  THE "SUMMARY BOX"(see picture below)
THE SUMMARY BOX is a short summary on the person. If you want to see more information on this one person then click on their blue name in the SUMMARY BOX or click on the word "PERSON" at the bottom of the SUMMARY BOX.

Click in the SUMMARY BOX to find not just a small box of information - now you get to find a more information on them ...that is maintained on a person page.

NEXT:
Now you have brought up the "PERSON PAGE"(see picture below)
an entire page of information on the person.
Their personal dates of death and birth, their family, parents and siblings but also their spouse and children.
All you will find and all you will enter go onto this page!  You can even connect photos and stories to this person through this page!!!

FINALLY---
2 Things You MUST KNOW
EVERY PERSON on Family Search has 2 things -

#1 -  A PERSON PAGE - where information is stored and recorded - you will enter information here!

#2 -  A NUMBER - each person is given a number - this NUMBER is immediately under their name - it contains letters and numbers - super helpful:)
(tip:  if you are working on a person jot this NUMBER down in a little notebook with their name - that way you will not get confused when you find several people with the same name)
