Great New Trilogy for Middle Readers

I read this with my 8 and 10 year olds.  We all really enjoyed it.  It started out looking interesting and I really needed to hook my “I hate reading” 10 year old son into a book.  And wala – it workedJ!!  Fun adventure story for boys and girls and parents.

Why only 3.5?  I think the author could have condensed it.  Fun story - but just a bit wordy - some stories can be said in less words - it's TRUE!!!!

The next book comes out in January 2014 - so we shall wait and see and hope it's even better:)!
