4 stars - great book for your family time
This title caught
my eye. I was intrigued with the idea of
Mealtime Devotions. Looking for more
verbal interaction in our modern day has put this book at the top of my list. We all know how important eating together is –
in fact I think a lot of us do eat together, it’s just the quality of
conversation I usually wonder about.
This great little
book has a lot of clever and fun ways to open up easy conversations that get the
family talking. My teenagers roll their
eyes yet they don’t leave and my younger kids eat it up. I really like
the books structure. Each page has a clever topic, no long paragraphs just bulleted information and simple questions. Each topic comes from a scripture or scripture story.
This concise book easily fits in a purse or even in your glove box. I leave it sitting on my chair at the table,
always there and ready. Who could ask for a better way to increase the quality
of conversation with your family?
I received this book free from the publisher Tyndale Blog Network book
review bloggers program. I was not required to write a positive review. The
opinions I have expressed are my own.
